➤ Answer :-

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 3)}{15} + \sf(x) = \tt  - 5}

To find the value of 'x' in the following sum we should subtract the answer and the first value...........

{\sf \longrightarrow (x) = \tt  - 5 - \dfrac{( - 3)}{15}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 5)}{1} - \dfrac{( - 3)}{15}}

Convert them into like fractions by taking the LCM of the denominators i.e, 1 and 15........

LCM of 1 and 15 is 15.

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 5) \times 15}{1 \times 15} - \dfrac{( - 3)}{15}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 75)}{15} - \dfrac{(- 3)}{15} = \dfrac{( - 75) - ( - 3)}{15}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 75) + 3}{15} = \dfrac{( - 72)}{15}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 72)}{15} = \boxed{\tt -4 \dfrac{12}{15}}}

\Huge\therefore The other number is {\tt - 4 \dfrac{12}{15}}
