Solution :

Given rational number is 3/4

\sf  Therefore   \: negative \:  of \:  \frac{3}{4}  \:  is \:  -  \frac{3}{4}

\sf Now ,  \frac{3}{4}  +  \frac{( - 3)}{4}  = 0

\sf Hence  \: , the \:  required \:  answer \:  is =  \red{ \frac{ - 3}{4} }
