Heya,
-3/5 + -5/3
= -9/15 + -25/15
= -34/15
Let the number to be added be x.
-34/15 + x = 1
x = 1 +34/15
= 49/15
Therefore 49/15 should be added to (-3/5 + -5/3) to get 1.
Hope it helps u........

let x be added to -3/5+(-5/3) to get 1.
x+(-3/5)-5/3=1.
x-3/5-5/3=1
(15x-9-25)/15=1
(15x-34)/15=1
15x-34=15
15x=15+34
15x= 49
x=49/15
therefore 49/15 should be added to -3/5+(-5/3)
to get 1.
hope it will help.....
x+(-3/5)-5/3=1.

15x=15+34
15x= 49
x=49/15
