What should be added to 3a+4b to get 7a-5b ?

(7a-5b)-(3a+4b)
=(7a-3a)-(5b-4b)
=4a-1b

(3a+4b)-(4a-1b)
=3a+4a)-(4b+1b)
=7a-5b

right or wrong ?
