1) -1-(-5/4)= -1/1-(-5/4)= -4-(-5)/4=-1/4

2) the additive identity for rational number is 0

3) multiplicative inverse of 1/5=5/1

4)let the number be x

(-4/3)-x=-1

x= -1/1+4/3

x= -1/1+4/3

x= -3/3+4/3

x= 1/3

4)we want one rational number so we multiple with 2

0/1*2/2=2/2

-1/1*2/2=-2/2

therefore the rational number is-1/2
