Heya user ✌

Here's your answer friend,

_________________________________

Let x be the added value to (-5/7 + 3/8)

To obtain (-9/4)

therefore

==> (-5/7 + 3/8) + x = -9/4

==> (-40 + 21)/56 + x = -9/4

==> (-19/56) + x = -9/4

==> x = -9/4 + 19/56

==> x = (-504 + 76)/224

............{ by cross multiplication }

==> x = -428/224

==> x = (-1.910714286)

Is the required value that is to be added to get (-9/4).

HOPE IT HELPS YOU :)
