Answer:

 \frac{ - 5}{8}  +  \frac{6}{7}  + x = 1

 \frac{ - 35 + 48}{56}  + x = 1

 \frac{13}{56}  + x = 1

x = 1 -  \frac{13}{56}

x =  \frac{56 -13}{56}

x =  \frac{43}{56}

WE NEED TO ADD 43/56.
