Let X should be added to 5/8 to get 101/72
Therefore,
=> 5/8 + X = 101/72
=>5 + 8X ÷ 8 = 101/72
=>72(5+8X) = 101 × 8
=> 360 + 576X = 808
=> 576X = 808 - 360
=> 576X = 448
=> X = 448/576
=>X = 7/9
Hence,
7/9 should be added to 5/8 to make it 101/72
