Let the number be A.

According to Question,

( \frac{ - 3}{4} ) + a  +  \frac{5}{7} = ( \frac{ - 6}{1}  )

L.C.M of 4 and 7 will be 28

 \frac{ - 21 + 28a + 20}{28}  =  - 6

 - 21 + 28a + 20 =  - 6 \times 28

 - 1 + 28a =  - 168

28a =  - 168 + 1

28a =  - 167

a =   \frac{ - 167}{28}

a =  - 5.96

Hence,

Hence, The required answer is -5.96
