Solution :-

First finding the sum of 3pq + 5p²q² + p³ and p³ − pq we get,

→ (3pq + 5p²q² + p³) + (p³ - pq)

→ p³ + p³ + 5p²q² + 3pq - pq

→ (2p³ + 5p²q² + 2pq)

now, let a is added to the sum to get 3p³ − 2p²q² + 4pq .

so,

→ a + (2p³ + 5p²q² + 2pq) = (3p³ − 2p²q² + 4pq)

→ a = (3p³ − 2p²q² + 4pq) - (2p³ + 5p²q² + 2pq)

→ a = 3p³ - 2p³ - 2p²q² - 5p²q² + 4pq - 2pq

→ a = (p³ - 7p²q² + 2pq) (Ans.)
