As per the question,
Let the number added be x.
x+ 2(-7/3) = 3/7
x = 3/7 +14/3 = 107/21.
So, 107/21 is the required answer.

Hope you will find it helpful....

Hi ,

Let x is the number should be

added to twice of the rational number

( - 7/3 ) = 3/7

x + 2 ( - 7/3 ) = 3/7

x - 14/3 = 3/7

x = 3/7 + 14/3

x = ( 9 + 98 ) /21

x = 107/21

Therefore ,

Required number = x = 107/21

I hope this helps you
