Let the no. to be added be x
hence, -7/3 + x = 3/7
x = 3/7 + 7/3
= (3×3 + 7×3)/(7×3)
= 9 + 21 / 21
= 30/21
x = 10/7
Therefore, 10/7 must be added to get 3/7 from -7/3.
hence, -7/3 + x = 3/7
x = 3/7 + 7/3
= (3×3 + 7×3)/(7×3)
= 9 + 21 / 21
= 30/21
x = 10/7
Therefore, 10/7 must be added to get 3/7 from -7/3.
