48 - 13x is added with  (x-4)(x+6) to get the product (x-3)(x-8)

aarushi66: send me whole process
vyshakhg04: (x-4)(x+6) + A = (x-3)(x-8)
vyshakhg04: let A be the value that is to be added
aarushi66: ok
vyshakhg04: expand (x-4)(x+6) and (x-3)(x-8)
vyshakhg04: then solve for A
aarushi66: tq
vyshakhg04: np

here
(x-4)(x+6)=x^2+2x-24
(x-3)(x-8)=x^-11x+24

required term=-(x-3)(x-8)-(x-4)(x+6)
=x^2-11x+24-x^2-2x+24
=48-13x.......ans
