If a highly concentrated acid gets spilled in the students hand, the student should first wash the hand with cold water and a soup , after that he should apply medicine in the affected area.

The hand should be washed immediately with plenty of water and a paste of sodium hydrogencarbonate (a base) must be applied to neutralise the acid.
