What should be done to eliminate wastewater being polluted by chemical??briefly pliz

1.do not trow chemicals like paints,medicines,engine oil  in the wastewater.the kill the freindly micro organisms in the wastewater.
2 .factories waste should not be directly discharged in waste water
3.cooking oil should notbe thrown  in waste water.it blocks the pipe of sewage.
