When the open end of a dropper is dipped inside a liquid medicine and the closed end is pressed, some air from inside the dropper is expelled out. The pressure of air inside it now being less than the
atmospheric pressure, the greater atmospheric pressure pushes some liquid in to the dropper.
When the process is repeated more and more medicine gets in till it is full.
