hey dear

here is your answer

___________________________________

-4 / 9 + ( 2 / 5 + 3 / 8 )

- 4 / 9 + ( we take Lcm of 5 ,8 is 40 )

- 4 / 9 + ( 2*8 / 5*8 + 3*5 / 8*5 )

-4 / 9 + ( 16 / 40 + 15 /40 )

- 4 / 9 + ( 31 / 40 )

- 4 / 9 + 31 / 40

we take lcm of 9 , 40 is 360

- 4* 40 / 9*40. + 31*9 / 40*9

-160 / 360. + 279 / 360

as we know that + , - = -

so

279 / 360 - 160 / 360

= 101 /360

so the multiplicative inverse is 360 / 101

as similar to reciprocal
