Given :-

2) What should (-5)-2 be multiplied with, so as to obtain (-3) -1?

Answer :-

x \times  (- 7) =  - 4 \\ x =  \frac{ - 4}{ - 7} \\ x =  0.571

Given :-

By what number should (-15)- be multipied to so as to obtain (5)-3?

Answer:

1) 7x=2

x= 2/7

=0.285

2)x × (−7) = −4

x= -4/ −7

x=0.571

3)Let the required number be xx.Therefore,(15) ^−1 × x

=(−5) ^−1

15^1 × x

= 5^ − 1x

= −3
