☆ Solution

 \frac{ - 3}{4}  \times a \\ a =  \frac{2}{3}  \times   \frac {4}{ - 3}  \\ a =  - \frac{ - 8}{9}  \\

So

 \frac{ - 3}{4} must \: be \: multiplied \: by \:  \frac{8}{9} to \: get \:  \frac{2}{3}
