Let the no. be x

x - \dfrac{-2}{3}  = \dfrac{3}{4}

x+ \dfrac{2}{3}= \dfrac{3}{4}

x = \dfrac{3}{4}- \dfrac{2}{3}

[Take lcm,... Lcm = 12]

x = \dfrac{3 \times 3 - 4 \times 2}{12}

x = \dfrac{9-8}{12}

x = \dfrac{1}{12}

The no. is \dfrac{1}{12}

______________________

Verify:-

\dfrac{1}{12} - (\dfrac{-2}{3})\dfrac{1}{12}+ \dfrac{2}{3}

LCM = 12

=\dfrac{1+8}{12}

=\dfrac{9}{12}

Both are divisible by 3.

=(3 \times 3 = 9)

=(4 \times 3 = 12)

=\dfrac{3}{4}

Hence proved...
