Heya here is your answer
_______________________

let \: x \: is \: subtracted \: from \\  \frac{2}{5}  \: to \: get \:  \frac{5}{6}  \\  \\ then. \\  \\  \frac{2}{5}  - x =  \frac{5}{6}  \\  \\  \frac{2 - 5x}{5}  =  \frac{5}{6}  \\  \\ 6 \times (2 - 5x) = 5 \times 5 \\  \\ 12 - 30x = 25 \\  \\ 12 - 25 = 30x \\  \\   - 13 = 30x \\  \\  x = \frac{ - 13}{30}

hi

let the number  be x

What should be subracted from 2/5 to get 5/6?

lets form an euqation

2/5 -  x = 5/6

-x = 5/6 - 2/5

-x = 25 - 12/30

-x = 13/30

x = -13/30

hence -13/30
should be subracted from 2/5 to get 5/6

hope it helps u
