What should be subracted from -3/4 to get 5/6

Let the no. subtracted from -3/4 to get 5/6 is x


-3/4 - x = 5/6

-x = 5/6 + 3/4

-x = 20+18/24

-x = 38/24

-x = 19/12

x = -19/12


So, the no. is -19/12
