( - 6x {}^{2} + 9xy - 3y {}^{2} )
and
(4y {}^{2} - 8xy - 3x {}^{2} )

10x^2 + 14xy - 3y^2

add the terms with same variables.

after adding the 2 equations we get

-9x^2 + xy + y^2 ------ ♳

-9x^2 + xy + y^2 - A = -19x^2 - 13xy + 4 y^2

transpose -A to that side and the right side equation to the other side .

then A will be +ve and the signs of the equation changes ( 19x^2 + 13 xy - 4y^2) ------ ♴

now add ♳ and ♴

we finally get the answer as

10x^2 + 14xy - 3y^2

i hope you will understand this solution!!
