Answer:

26/3

Step-by-step explanation:

1/2+1/5=1/3/5=5/3let the no. to be subtracted be x

5/3-x=-7

5/3+7=x

5+21/3=x

26/3=x.

re-check:

5/3-26/3=-21/3=-7.

here is ur answer:

 \frac{1}{2} + \frac{1}{5} - x = - 7 \\ \\ \frac{5 + 2 - 10x}{10} = - 7 \\ \\ 7 - 10x = - 7 \times 10 \\ \\ 7 - 10x = - 70 \\ \\ 7 + 70 = 10x \\ \\ 77 = 10x \\ \\ x = \frac{77}{10} \\ \\ x = 7.7

hope it helps you!
