 \frac{ - 11}{15}  - x =  \frac{ - 3}{15}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{ - 11}{15}  +  \frac{3}{15}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{ - 11 + 3}{15}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{ - 8}{5}

Hence,  \frac{ - 8}{5} should be subtracted
