what should be subtracted from 18 by x + 1 to get 6 by (x + 1) (x + 2)?Would be great you show me how its done.

lets take the answer as y

then 18/(x+1) - y = 6/(x+1) (x+2)

y = 18/(x+1) - 6/(x+1)(x+2)

y = [18(x+2) - 6] / (x+1) (x+2)

y = [18x - 30] / (x+1) (x+2)

now it can be simplified according to the options given if any. hope it helped
