To find : missing number from which -19 should be subtracted to get 100.

Solution :

  • let us assume number to be x .
  • Then according to question we write condition as , x -19 = 100
  • On solving the above expression by taking  constant at RHS and leaving variable at LHS , we find value of x.

                              x = 100 + 19

                              x = 119

Therefore , 119 is the missing number from which -19 should be subtracted to get 100.
