-3/2-x=-2

so then

x=-3/2+2

ie.(-3+4)/2

ie. 1/2

so 1/2 should be subtracted from -3/2 to get -2

Let the x be substracted from - 2/3 to get 3/4. As per statement, it can be written as

-2/3 - x = 3/4…Eq.1

-x = 3/4 + 2/3

-x = (9+8)/12

-x = 17/12

x = -17/12

Answer x = - 17/12
