-3/2-x=-2
so then
x=-3/2+2
ie.(-3+4)/2
ie. 1/2
so 1/2 should be subtracted from -3/2 to get -2

What should be subtracted from -2/3 to get 3/4?
Let the x be substracted from - 2/3 to get 3/4. As per statement, it can be written as
-2/3 - x = 3/4…Eq.1
-x = 3/4 + 2/3
-x = (9+8)/12
-x = 17/12
x = -17/12
Answer x = - 17/12
