 \frac{3}{4}  - x =  \frac{1}{6}  \\  \\  - x =  \frac{1}{6}  -  \frac{3}{4}  \\  \\  - x =  \frac{1(2) - 3(3)}{12}  \\  \\  - x =  \frac{2 - 9}{12} \\  \\  - x =  \frac{ - 7}{12 }  \\  \\ x =  \frac{7}{12}
