GIVEN:

  • One number = -3/5.

TO FIND:

Let x be the other number.

 \implies \:  \dfrac{ - 3}{5}  - x =  - 2 \\  \\  \implies \:  \dfrac{ - 3}{5}  + 2 = x \\  \\  \implies \:  \dfrac{ - 3 + 10}{5}  = x \\  \\  \implies \:  \dfrac{7}{5}  = x

Other rational number = 7/5.
