FIRST STEP :-
5\14 + 3/7
Take LCM of 14 and 7
LCM = 14
14 divide by LCM then multiply by 5
Ans. 5
7 divide by LCM then multiply by 3
2 multiply 3
Ans. 6
5+6/14
Ans. 11/14
SECOND STEP :- Let the no. be = x
11/14 - x = 1/5
-x = 1/5 - 11/14
-x = LCM of 5 and 14
-x = LCM = 70
-x = 5 divide by LCM then multiply by 1
Ans. 14
-x = 14 divide by LCM then multiply by 11
Ans. 55
14-55/70
Ans. -x = -41/70
Then sign of subtraction cut so x = 41/70
So 41/70 should be subtracted from the sum of 5/14 and 3/7 to get the answer 1/5
