  • As per data given in the question, we have to find a number

        Which is substracted from -\frac{5}{3} , the number will be -\frac{2}{7} .

         Let the number be x.

         according to the question,

         -\frac{5}{3}-x=-\frac{2}{7}\\\\-x=-\frac{2}{7}+\frac{5}{3\\\\}

         -x=\frac{29}{21}

         x=-\frac{29}{21}

      Hence the  -\frac{29}{21} is subtracted from -\frac{5}{3} to get -\frac{2}{7} .

Given:

Lets assume it as X

-5/3-x=-2/7

-5/3+2/7=x

-35/21+6/21=x

(-35+6)/21=x

-29/21=x

x=-29/21

Hence -29/21 should be subtracted from -5/3 to get -2/7
