Let the no. to be subtracted be x.
Hence,
-5/3-x=5/6
-5/3-5/6=x
-10-5/6=x (taking LCM of 3 and 6 i.e.6)
-15/6=x
x= -5/2
Therefore no.to be subtracted from -5/3 to get 5/6 is -5/2.
Hence,
-5/3-x=5/6
-5/3-5/6=x
-10-5/6=x (taking LCM of 3 and 6 i.e.6)
-15/6=x
x= -5/2
Therefore no.to be subtracted from -5/3 to get 5/6 is -5/2.
