Let X be subtracted from -5/7 to get -1

now let's solve this:-

 ➩ \frac{ - 5}{7}  - x =  - 1

➩ - x =  - 1 +  \frac{5}{7}

➩ - x =  \frac{ - 7 + 5}{7}

➩ - x =  \frac{ - 2}{7}

➩ - 7x =  - 2

➩7x = 2

➩x =  \frac{2}{7}
