What should be subtracted from the prodect of 2/7 and 3/8 to get -3/7 ?​

This is my thinking that if you want to solve any mathematical question,first you should write problem in an arranged way. Which makes things a bit clear,which becomes needful in complex mathematical problem.

So back to your question:basically your question is,what is the value of x in this equation-

-(2/3)-x=-(1/6) (we can arrange problem in this way)

by using simple manipulation:

x=-(2/3)+1/6

x=(-4+1)/6

x=-(3/6)

x=-1/2

so we have to subtract -1/2 from -2/3 to get -1/6.
