Sum of x²y+y²x+3 and -3x²y+y³+xy²

= -2x²y +2xy²+y³+3

let the subtracted number be z

2xy²-2x²y +y³+3 - z = x²y +xy²-2

z = 2xy²-2x²y +y³+3 -x²y - xy² +2

z = xy² -3x²y +y³ +5

Therefore xy²-3x²y +y³+5 has to be subtracted
