What should be taken away 4x² - 4y² + 5xy + 20 to obtain 2x² - y² + 4xy + 30?

\huge\mathcal{\fcolorbox{cyan}{black}{\pink{Answer}}} \\

(4x² - 4y² + 5xy + 20) - (2x² - y² + 4xy + 30)

4x² - 4y² + 5xy + 20 - 2x² + y² - 4xy - 30 -- ( as there was negative operation before the breacket, the signs inside the bracket changed)

4x² - 2x²- 4y² + y² + 5xy - 4xy + 20 - 30 -- (putting like terms together)

2x² - 3y² +xy - 10

∴ 2x² - 3y² +xy - 10 should be taken away 4x² - 4y² + 5xy + 20 to obtain 2x² - y² + 4xy + 30
