what should be taken care of while rounding off a number while calculating empirical formula of a compound in Mole concept in Chemistry ?

if the number is 1.5/1.6/1.7 like that.....then u don't round off...but if its 1.8/1.9...then u can

multiply it by a no which makes it a whole no....eg: 1.5 x 2 = 3......then u have to multiply the ohter no.s also with 2.....
