Given,

The water tank holding 3000 liters of water having length 2m and breadth 1m

1 meter = 1000 liters

3000 liters = 3 meter cube

Volume of tank =l\times b\times h

Here, Assume

depth =height=x

3=2\times1\times x

x=\frac{3}{2}

x=1.5m

Therefore, the depth of the tank is 1.5m.

Given,

The volume of the Underground water tank is 3000lit=3m^{3}

Length of the tank is 2m

Breadth of the tank is 1m

V=l\times b\times h

3=2\times1 \times h

h=\frac{3}{2}

h=1.5m

Therefore, the depth of the underground water tank is 1.5m
