The currently most important developmental goals for India should be as follows:

(1) To eradicate extreme poverty and hunger present in the country.

(2) Aiming towards achieving the universal basic education goals for all the children of the country.

(3) One of the most important goals that should be aimed is to promote gender equality and women empowerment and the safety of women in the present situation.

(4) The increasing child mortality rate is a huge threat to the development of the country. The government should find measures to reduce the  child mortality rate in India,

(5) One more basic requirement is to improve the maternal health of the country.

(6) Combating HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases is one more threat to the general public that needs to be treated.
