What should be the frequency of ayurveda facial?

Although Ayurvedic Facial is all natural stuff but it is suggested not to exceed its usage by more than 3 times in a week. The simple logic behind it is that excessive usage tends to create irritation and dullness of skin. 
Some people have also reported stretched looking skin with occasional inflammation near nose on regular usage.
