what should be the least number to be subtracted from 1456 to make a perfect square.

hi friend,



the perfect square nearer to 1456 is 1444=(38²)


so u need to subtract 12 from 1456 to make it a perfect square..

We know that 40^2=1600
35^2=1225
(35+3)^2=1225+9+2*35*3
=1225+9+210=1444
1456-1444=12
