Thanks for the question!

It is definitely a very interesting question to solve and do some brainstorming.

**************************************************

Given,

5A9-7B2+9C6=823

when we calculate unit digit it comes as  9+6-2=13;
where 3 is unit digit now we have 1 carry;
for hundred digit we have 5+9-7=7 but we need 8 means we need a carry from 10th place so we have equation

A+C-B+1=12
A+C-B=11;

maximum value of B from here is 7 (because each A,B,C is between 0-9)

Hope it helps and solves your query!!
