what should be the ratio of area of cross section of the master cylinder and wheel cylinder of halydraulic breake so that a force of 15N can be obtained at each of its brake shoe by exerting a force of 0.5N on the pedal?

Let F2 =15 N and F1 =0.5 N, A2 is the area of force F2 acts and A1 is the area on which F1 acts.

F2/F1=A2/A1

or, 15 N/0.5 N = A2/A1

or,150/5 =A2/A1

or,30/1 =A2/A1

Ratio is 30:1
