here the number given is 3*2487

we find the smallest and the greatest  number by using divisibility rule of 3

according to the rule (first we add all the number and the sum is  divisible by 3 so  the number is divisible by 3) let,s do it

first we find smallest number

3+a+2+4+8+7=24+a ( divisible by 3 ) so we put  0

the smallest number is 0

the greatest number =  3+a+2+4+8+7=24 +a ( divisible by 3 )

the greatest number =  24+9 =33  ( divisible by 3 )
