What should be the value of a if the value of 2x+ x-a equals to 5 when x= 10

Answer:

2x+x-a=5, when x=10 are given.

Then ,by putting x=10 in above equation

we get a

2x10+10-a=5

10-a=5

-a=5

a=-5
