we take the value of g always negative to ensure that we are not doing mistake

when the object is coming down we take the displacement also negative and g also negative u also negative. all the negatives get cancelled and we have the equation so according to me we should take the value of g always negative and the other values will be according to the situation for example when any anything is going up we will take displacement positive but if it is going down we will take displacement negative same for velocity and acceleration

amritasingh35: when object is in free fall motion then why should g negative
