here the given number is -3/4 .

as per the question

-3/4 - x = -1/2

-3/4 + 1/2  = x

-3 +2/4   = x

-1/4  = x

-1/4 should be subtracted from the number to get that product.

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER!!

LET THE NUMBER TO BE SUBTRACTED BE X.
A/Q= -3/4-X=-1/2
= -X= -1/2+3/4
= -X= 25/100
= x = - 1/4

so, -1/4 should be
subtracted from -3/4 to get -1/2
