What should citizens of the USA and other nations require of the USA?

This is a very loaded political question. The U.S has a long history of isolationism specifically post World War II. Many people today believe the U.S. should use it's power to act as the "policemen" of the world. The U.S. extreme influence as major world power so I believe the only thing we can as for is that the U.S. uses it's power justly and respectfully.
