Where the mind is without fear by Rabindranath Tagore was written when people were urging for freedom from the British rule. It is written in a form of prayer to the god. Throughout the poem, Tagore reveals his own idea of freedom that is where the mind is without fear.

The poet in the poem says that the words we speak must reflect the utmost truth.
